III has been named treasurer.

With 28 years of experience in the banking industry, Bochette has served
in several positions for community banks, including CEO, CFO, and CRO.
He has also worked as a bank examiner for the Office of the Comptroller
of the Currency, formerly known as the Office of Thrift Supervision.
Bochette joined South State Bank in 2011 as senior vice president in the
financial management division. In 2014, he was named executive vice
president and secretary to the board. In his new role, Bochette will
serve as secretary and treasurer.
A native of Orangeburg, Bochette earned his Bachelor of Science degree
in finance from the University of South Carolina.
