SCBT Wealth Management Adds Trust Advisory Team

COLUMBIA, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SCBT Wealth Management Group President, Todd Harward announced the additions of Deedie Jordan and Fran Cass, as trust advisors serving the Columbia and the greater Midlands region.

Jordan and Cass will advance SCBT's Wealth Management business by providing fully integrated investment management, trust administration, estate settlement, financial planning and private banking solutions to the Bank's clients. Both Jordan and Cass will draw upon their extensive knowledge and experience in serving Columbia’s high net worth clientele for over 30 years.

With over 30 years experience in trust and estate administration, Jordan started her career with South Carolina National, which through a series of mergers and acquisitions became one of the nation’s largest financial institution. She served most recently as Columbia’s senior trust advisor. Jordan attended Columbia College where she studied Business and is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute. She also holds a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation (CTFA).

She is a member of the Columbia Estate Planning Council and serves on the South Carolina Bankers Association Trust Committee. A long time native of Columbia, Jordan and her husband Danny have two adult sons and are members of Shandon Presbyterian Church.

Cass joins SCBT with over 32 years experience in trust and estate administration. She also started her career with South Carolina National, where she served most recently as Columbia’s trust advisor. Cass is a graduate of Clemson University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also holds a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation (CTFA).

An active member of the community, Cass is a member of the Columbia Estate Planning Council and attends Salem United Methodist Church. A native of West Columbia, she now resides in Chapin with her husband, Karl E. Skoog. She has two adult children, Brian and David Cass.
